Recently, a Korean manufacturer named Kolon Glotech teamed up with the R&D team of the Korean Academy of Sciences to jointly complete the research and development of OLED (organic light-emitting diode) built into textiles.
The success of this research means that in the near future, we will see a variety of materials with built-in displays. By then, there will be more new smart wearable devices such as smart epaulettes, smart belts, and smart sleeves.
Of course, in order to complete the development and manufacturing of new smart wearable devices, the current R&D team must start producing a fabric that meets the requirements. These fabrics must have a smooth, fine surface and good breathability and heat dissipation properties. And although the fabric will have a built-in display screen, it must not affect its softness and comfort.
At this stage, it is obviously unrealistic to realize these ideas and develop new smart wearable devices. But I believe that in the future, there should be exciting new product development successes.
