The use of coating technology is a common means to achieve water-repellent and waterproof finishing.
At present, fabric coating finishing agents mainly include polyacrylate, polyurethane, silicone elastomer and polyvinyl chloride resin, among which water-soluble polyurethane coating glue is the most common.
Coating can significantly improve the hydrostatic pressure resistance of fabrics, but the impact of moisture permeability and hand feel must be considered. In order to obtain better finishing effects, a process that combines water-repellent padding finishing and coating finishing can be used.
Process flow:
Semi-finished product → padding water-repellent finishing agent (padding rate 65%) → pre-baking (102℃) → tenter drying (135℃) → coating → drying (98-102℃) → baking (160℃, 2min)→Full installation
